I spent 20+ years in tech, including 9 years as a Director at Google. When AI started changing everything, I learned it the way a skeptic does: by testing it on real work. Hardly any AI advice is written for experienced people with decades of real judgment. That gap is why I started AI Over 50, and I'm on a mission to help experienced folks put AI to work, skeptically, practically, on our own terms.

Everything I teach comes back to three beliefs:

Be the AI skeptic who uses AI. Use it with eyes open and keep asking the hard questions.

Bet on your foundation. Learn the fundamentals that do not change with each new model release.

Your experience is the edge. Judgment and pattern recognition are the one thing AI cannot supply.

Maven/AI Over 50 has given me so much insight and abilities to dive into AI. It opened my eyes and taught me how to utilize the basic features of Chat GPT (in my case). With the use of "Skills," "Projects," "Plug-Ins," and "Scheduled" features I improving my efficiency and growth with my business and also personal life responsibilities. Brett was the perfect instructor - deeply knowledgeable, invested in the student's success, and good at explaining the concepts that made courses and instructions easy to complete on your own.
